Veterinary Sales Representative
Elanco
Role Description As a Veterinary Sales Representative, you will be a disruptive force in the Daytona Beach, FL territory, responsible for driving growth and building strong client connections with veterinary customers. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in Elanco's success during a historic launch period for the Pet Health organization, leveraging your expertise to meet and exceed sales goals with an innovative product portfolio. - Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to drive product placement and achieve sales goals within key veterinary hospitals and clinics. - Provide leadership and influence for distributor representatives within the territory, ensuring alignment and effective execution of sales strategies. - Build and maintain impactful partnerships with key decision-makers across independent clinics and corporate veterinary hospitals. - Serve as the primary liaison for local and state veterinary medical associations (VMAs), coordinating Elanco's presence at major industry events. - Plan and execute product launch events and educational meetings in partnership with veterinary services to drive market share and adoption. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma / GED with equivalent level of experience. - Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or equivalent experience in a competitive, complex selling environment (e.g., medical device). - Top Skills: Demonstrated competitive drive with a proven track record of success and the ability to strategically manage a complex portfolio across diverse customer accounts. Requirements - Must have a Valid Driver’s License, an acceptable driving record, and legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
