Role Description We're hiring a UI/UX Designer to sit at the center of how ProphetX is built and experienced. You'll report to the VP of Product and work directly with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Executive teams on a frequent basis. You'll be expected to drive the conversation, challenge decisions, bring your own ideas to the table, and build the case for design as a strategic function. Portfolio required. Please include a link or attachment with your application. There will also be a take-home design project in the final stages of the interview. What You'll Own - End-to-end product design across desktop and mobile, from early-stage concept through polished, production-ready delivery - User research strategy and execution: personas, competitive analysis, user interviews, usability testing, and synthesis into actionable insight - Design system ownership: building, evolving, and maintaining a coherent, scalable system across all product surfaces - Cross-functional partnership: you are in the room when product decisions are made, not handed the outcome after the fact - AI-augmented design workflow: you treat AI tooling as a natural force multiplier, not a novelty - Raising the bar: you bring a point of view into every critique, push back when something is not right, and make the work around you better Qualifications - 5+ years in product design, with a portfolio that demonstrates both systems thinking and exceptional craft - Deep experience designing complex, data-rich, or transactional products: fintech, sportsbook, prediction markets, or similarly high-stakes environments strongly preferred - Full double diamond fluency: as comfortable running a research sprint and defining the problem space as you are delivering a pixel-perfect prototype - Figma mastery: components, variables, auto-layout, and prototyping at a level that moves fast without creating chaos - Experience with prototyping and usability testing tools, and working familiarity with product analytics to inform and validate design decisions - A track record of influencing product direction, not just executing it: you have opinions and you know how to make the case for them - Comfort with ambiguity: you do not need a fully defined brief to do great work, and you can build structure where none exists - Experience in prediction markets specifically - Graphic design background that shows up in the polish and craft of your visual work - Familiarity with CFTC-regulated or financial services product environment Benefits - Competitive compensation aligned to role and market - Equity opportunities so you share in what we’re building - A clear connection between impact and reward - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - Flexible time off built on trust and accountability - A culture that respects your time and avoids unnecessary meetings - Fully remote within the U.S. - Flexibility to work in the way that helps you do your best work - Own the end-to-end design experience at one of the most interesting startups in fintech right now - Take on a high-impact IC role with direct influence on product direction, user experience, and how a brand-new asset class earns trust at scale - Be part of the journey toward full CFTC-regulated operations in the U.S. market, and help define what compliant, exemplary financial product design looks like

Pogo Technologies

Priorities may shift quickly. Oftentimes, we're tackling very ambiguous problems that don't have clear-cut answers. At times, you'll need to build things in a day: we live and breathe a value called "Calculated Speed". We don't have structured management (yet!). We expect more than 9 to 5 - raw hours make an impact at our current stage. We trust each team member to create a flexible work schedule that allows them to be most productive while accommodating other priorities outside of work. We also strongly encourage time off to recharge the batteries: in addition to unlimited PTO, we've implemented a minimum 20 days vacation policy.

Qualifications - Likely 1-4 years of design experience, including experience designing software products. - Bonus if you’ve done this at a startup, or have designed AI interactions before! - Bonus if you have experience designing enterprise-grade products. - You design quickly and efficiently, using Figma to gain super powers and reach “escape velocity design”. - You’re a design nerd at heart with a very high bar for design quality and strong opinions about what “great” looks like. - You actively seek out the best-designed products/designers, constantly collecting references from Twitter, Mobbin, and beyond. - You actively use LLMs like ChatGPT or Claude in your design workflow. - You’re relentless in pursuing the best solution - willing to explore, iterate, and even scrap a lot of your own work if it means creating a stronger product. - You’re a full-stack designer, having designed experiences from scratch and know how to bring it to life working cross-functionally with product and engineering. - You have strong product intuition and a knack for creating experiences that index on simplicity and clarity. Benefits - Above-market salaries & equity. - Unlimited PTO with a minimum 20 days vacation policy. Why you might be excited about this opportunity - Work on the design for an up-and-coming enterprise product, ultimately used by some of the largest companies in the world. - Design matters a lot to us; you won't be fighting uphill battles to convince people why design matters. - Be surrounded by amazing product thinkers who value product thinking at every level of the team. - Quick feedback loops, allowing you to launch and get user feedback in a matter of hours. - Shape our design culture from the ground up as one of our early team members. Why you might not be excited about us - Priorities may shift quickly; we tackle ambiguous problems without clear-cut answers. - You will be one of two designers (for now) and will need to learn independently and work in tiny teams. - At times, you’ll need to design things in a day, living by a value called “Calculated Speed”. - We expect more than 9 to 5; raw hours make an impact at our current stage.
