Senior Systems Engineer – Part-time

• Provide systems engineering and technical support services for the FAA Systems Engineering and Technical Support Services (SETSS) Program • Support FAA Air Transportation Support activities across operational locations • Develop and maintain systems engineering artifacts • Support R&D activities as required under the SETTS program • Collaborate with cross-functional FAA stakeholders and technical teams • Provide clear technical documentation and program planning support

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science
  • Minimum of 12 - 15 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Knowledge of or experience with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS)
  • Knowledge of or experience with the FAA Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
  • Strong analytic capabilities e.g., with data analysis, benefits analysis, short fall analysis, risk analysis, GAP analysis
  • Working knowledge of probability and statistics at the undergraduate level
  • Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Technical writing experience using Microsoft Word
  • Experience supporting program planning and execution

The Opportunity The Nutanix Channel Systems Engineer (SE) is a technical field position that supports the Technical Partner Community. As the Channel SE, you're navigating and helping our partners to perform all the functions that a Nutanix Systems Engineer does including running Proof of Concepts.
