Senior Systems Engineer
Managed Solution
• Provides senior consultative services and project work for Professional Services clients • Responsible for designing, implementing, and remedying complex technology solutions in two or more of the following: Cloud Technology, Modern Workplace/Automation, Exchange/Messaging, Windows Servers, Active Directory, Networking • Acts as a presales consult to help a client identify appropriate solutions, determine project scope, tasks, and budget requirements • Acts as project lead for assigned projects, directing others in completing project tasks according to project scopes • Acts as a mentor to help develop the skillsets of Project Engineers and others • Completes additional, related responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience providing engineering within a Microsoft environment
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a consultative capacity at a systems integrator/MSP/other IT vendor
- High levels of project ownership and individual accountability in a results-oriented environment
- Demonstrated experience as a project lead
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and innovation
- Demonstrated commitment to strong documentation and repeatable standards
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Previous Office365 migration experience (both hybrid and cloud only) required
