Senior Systems Engineer/Technician

• Lead customer presentations • System staging • Complete system documentation • Live system upgrades • Ensure the integrity of the architecture/design • Perform field engineering duties during radio system upgrade cycles • Upgrade/deploy various devices including network equipment, Windows-based devices, virtual machines, and Motorola proprietary devices • Serve as a customer-facing technical resource during upgrade efforts • Travel to customer sites across multiple provinces in Canada

Job Requirements

  • Experience or knowledge in radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless, or broadband/LTE
  • Experience working with Project 25 products (trunked and conventional)
  • Experience with logging/recording systems
  • Fluent in both English and French
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or possess the academic and work experience required to obtain accreditation
  • Strongly preferred residence in BC, AB, or QC with close proximity to a major airport

Role Description We are seeking a Senior Power System Engineer- Renewable & Data Center Integration with deep expertise in large load and renewable interconnections. This role will support transmission-level planning, system impact studies, dynamic modeling, and EPC design efforts for utility-scale renewable projects and hyperscale data center developments. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, hands-on modeling experience including Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing.
