Title : Examiner Location: United States Job Description: SearchCONNECT Texas (Remote) Join a growing title production team where your expertise in Texas title examination will have a direct impact on delivering accurate, high-quality title products for residential and commercial transactions. This role offers the opportunity to apply your deep knowledge of Texas title practices, work independently in a production-focused environment, and collaborate with experienced professionals to help identify and resolve title issues efficiently. What You'll Do: - Perform residential and/or commercial Texas title searches and examinations. - Review deeds, mortgages, judgments, tax records, probate filings, and other public records. - Analyze chains of title and identify title defects, requirements, and exceptions. - Prepare accurate title commitments, reports, and supporting documentation. - Research and resolve title issues, curative matters, and underwriting requirements. - Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding title findings and requirements. - Maintain production goals while ensuring a high level of accuracy and quality. What We're Looking For: - Minimum of 3 years of Texas title search and examination experience REQUIRED. - Proficiency with TitleData. - Strong understanding of Texas real estate and title insurance practices. - Ability to interpret legal descriptions, recorded documents, and title-related records. - Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. - Experience with curative processes and underwriting requirements. - Experience with SoftPro and/or Integrity title plant is preferred.
