• Reports into the Clinical Study Leadership SMAO Director. • Responsible for managing a regional team of 15-17 Study Management Associates. • Drive for best-in-class study execution. • Performance management of direct reports. • Provides professional success opportunities for SMAs. • Manage business continuity and resource management. • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and training. • Develop relationships with direct reports and stakeholders. • Support efficiencies and process improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, degree in health care or scientific field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of clinical research experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant study operations management and people management experience.
  • At least (3) years of direct people management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Successful coaching/mentoring, directly or in a matrix environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in drug development/clinical operations.
