Job Description

Travel Industry Supplier Reporting & Performance Analyst

BCD Travel

• Monitor key strategic suppliers to proactively address market changes and identify revenue opportunities • Remain up-to-date on industry trends while evaluating whether industry changes have potential to impact BCD’s business • Leverage existing reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications to analyze data against contract models and assess strategic options • Conduct analysis on ad hoc market, supplier, or client changes, evaluating their potential impact on performance and revenue • Support team in data analysis for quarterly business reviews • Assist in deal performance analytics and support regional and global supplier proposals for forecasting • Use supplier, internal, and 3rd-party data to develop interactive reporting that tracks supplier contractual performance, ensuring optimal revenues and earnings rates • Communicate the analyses in an effective manner with internal regional teams and illustrate recommended levers to act upon analytical findings • Utilize supplier and internal data to increase accuracy of supplier projections for monthly accruals

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in the travel industry in a reporting or performance role related to sales or procurement, supplier relations, revenue management, or procurement consulting
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel paired with solid presentation skills with Powerpoint
  • Basic SQL skills would be a plus
  • Financial modeling skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation) in English as this role will regularly need to present their findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally
