Role Description Provides senior level analyst support for finance activities including financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, trending and modeling to support planning for future business decisions for the Kentucky Health Plan. - Gathers, interprets and evaluates financial information, generating forecasts, and analyzing trends in medical/pharmacy expenses. - Research and provide pharmacy trends in specialty areas and new emerging drugs. - Oversight of various financial transactions and processing monthly and quarterly directed and pass-through payments. - Oversight for all provider escrow accounting including state reporting, escrow creation and releases, internal reporting. - Creation and oversight of various purchase requestion payments. - Review of general and administrative costs to ensure consistency with budgeting and recommendations involving updates to forecast. - Preparation of the annual quality survey for the Kentucky health plan. - Develops policies and procedures to support finance activities. Qualifications - At least 3 years of finance experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. - Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Strong critical-thinking and attention to detail. - Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong time-management skills, and ability to manage simultaneous projects and tasks to meet internal deadlines. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products, including key skills in Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables), and applicable software program(s) proficiency.
