AI Project Manager

• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and success metrics in collaboration with functional stakeholders and technical teams. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports for all active AI initiatives. • Manage project budgets, resource allocations, and vendor engagements as applicable. • Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. • Serve as the primary point of contact and accountability for internal AI projects, including process automation, AI-assisted analytics, document intelligence, and productivity tooling. • Coordinate with IT, legal, compliance, and business unit leads to ensure AI solutions are implemented securely and in alignment with firm policy. • Maintain a prioritized AI project backlog in coordination with the Corporate Operations leadership team. • Support vendor evaluation, pilot design, and proof-of-concept scoping for emerging AI tools under consideration. • Facilitate working sessions, steering committee updates, and executive briefings on project status and strategic progress; adept at translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise narratives for senior leadership. • Partner with change management resources to drive adoption of new AI-enabled workflows. • Uphold PMO standards for documentation, project intake, reporting, and lifecycle governance. • Contribute to the development and refinement of AI project templates, playbooks, and best practices. • Ensure proper documentation of AI use cases, data considerations, and operational handoffs.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years leading technology or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects in a professional services, consulting, or corporate environment.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing and delivering presentations, executive briefings, and strategic updates to C-suite and senior leadership audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, large language models, or enterprise AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, UiPath, or similar).
  • Exposure to AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, or data privacy considerations in an enterprise context.
  • Prior experience within a PMO or COO/Operations function.
