Essential Job Responsibilities - Design, deploy, and maintain IL5 compliant cloud infrastructure in AWS GovCloud and Azure Government - Build and optimize Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environments supporting F 35 analytics - Implement ETL workflows using AWS Glue, Lambda, and structured S3 data layers - Develop and secure RESTful APIs enabling cross system sustainment data integration - Apply DoD IL5 Cloud SRG requirements, NIST 800-53, and Zero Trust security principles - Support cloud scalability and expansion across the F 35 Sustainment Enterprise - Collaborate with government, contractor, and cybersecurity stakeholders Qualifications - 3-8 years direct experience along with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field - Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch) - Working knowledge of Azure Government environments - Proficiency in Python for automation and pipeline development - Experience designing or integrating RESTful APIs - Experience with automated ETL pipelines and cloud data workflows - Understanding of IL5 cloud requirements, NIST 800-53, and Zero Trust - Working knowledge of cloud networking Requirements - An active Secret security clearance or higher is required (at the time of application and consideration) - Needing minimum Secret clearance to access government platforms and databases - Cloud Engineer I: 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience. - Cloud Engineer II: 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience. - Cloud Engineer III: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. - Cloud Engineer IV: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. - Cloud Engineer V: 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience. • BUILD & OPERATE CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE • Design, build, and operate infrastructure powering our cloud platform for high availability, performance, and developer efficiency. • Push the boundaries on how we scale to millions of users • OBSERVABILITY, SECURITY & AUTOMATION • Drive observability, monitoring, and alerting, and reduce operational toil through automation and smart tooling. • Improve the security and observability posture • RELIABILITY (KTLO) & ON-CALL • Contribute to on-call rotation, helping keep our systems healthy and performant. • Own and evolve KTLO (keep-the-lights-on) work: tackle reliability, performance bottlenecks, and critical bug fixes. • CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION & STRATEGY • Collaborate closely with Cloud team engineers, and sync with product engineers and PMs from other teams to support cross-functional projects; working with other engineering teams, Support, Customer Success, Sales. • Play a key role in strategic technical decisions, including architecture, tooling, and platform evolution.

• Provision and configure virtual machines (VMs), storage, and networking components • Use Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to automate deployments • Implement identity management (Microsoft Entra ID), firewalls, and encryption to protect data • Use Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to track performance and optimize cloud costs • Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline application code releases using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions • Design and maintain backup and failover strategies to ensure 99.99% system availability

Role Description As a Senior Cloud Engineer at TaskUs, you will provide technical SME for TaskUs’ Cloud Computing Environment. Your role will involve: - Providing operational and engineering support. - Handling incident management, problem management, change management, release management, and capacity management. - Providing L2 and L3 escalation support for the NOC and Service Desk. - Maintaining system documentation and representing projects in your area of expertise. Qualifications - At least 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Cloud-based computing, specifically AWS or Azure. - A total of 9 to 10 years of IT experience. - AWS or Azure certification is a nice-to-have. - Knowledgeable in DevOps tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM/JSON templates, and YAML for Ansible. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, ECS Fargate, Kubernetes Helm, and Circle CI. - Experience patching cloud solutions such as AWS SSM, Ansible Tower, and SCCM. - Willingness to be on a 24x7 global support and on-call schedule.
