Role Description The Budget Execution Specialist will provide financial and budget execution support for federal facilities management programs. This position supports the distribution, obligation, expenditure, reconciliation, tracking, and reporting of appropriated funds, while ensuring compliance with federal financial management requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with program managers, budget offices, acquisition personnel, and financial management stakeholders to support executing annual operating budgets and associated funding activities. Responsibilities - Provides financial administrative support for planning, tracking, analyzing and executing funding. - Utilizes Industry and Government best practices and standards (i.e., FAR, DFAR, JTR, FIRMR, DoD5000, etc.). - Provides contract execution support, purchase orders, and task orders through various contracting offices and financial offices to ensure timely execution and obligation of funding actions. - Populates budget and financial information into executive level presentations. - Tracks fund execution, including commitments, obligations, unobligated balances, and expenditures for all programs, and provides reports. - Supports the formulation of strategic financial plans, prepares cost estimates, Purchase Request Worksheets (PRW), life cycle budget planning, financial briefings, exhibits, and reconciliations in relation to the commitments and obligations of funding. - Prepares spreadsheets and appropriate documentation to support directed financial data calls (e.g. taskers). - Creates spend plan worksheets or documents, which provide an analysis detailing authorizations, commitments, obligations and balances, and correlates financing requirements into executable budgets. Essential Job Functions - Executing and monitoring budget activities involving obligations, expenditures, allocations, and fund distributions. - Maintaining and updating operating plans, spend plans, and financial tracking reports. - Monitoring Undelivered Orders (UDO) and assisting with reconciliation and closeout activities. - Supporting financial management activities related to contracts, agreements, and interagency funding actions. - Preparing recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership. - Analyzing budget execution data and providing recommendations to management. - Tracking program funding status and identifying potential execution risks. - Coordinating with acquisition, budget, finance, and program offices regarding funding actions. - Supporting budget formulation and execution activities throughout the fiscal year. - Ensuring compliance with federal financial management policies and procedures. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted. - Five (5) or more years of federal budget execution, budget analysis, financial management, accounting, or related experience. - Experience supporting federal appropriated funds. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience preparing financial reports and executive-level briefings. - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education. - Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting federal budget execution, budget analysis, financial management, accounting, or related federal financial operations. - Experience working with appropriated federal funds, including obligations, expenditures, allocations, and/or fund tracking. - Experience preparing financial reports, analyses, spreadsheets, and budget status reports for management review. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and financial data analysis. - Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to obtain and maintain any required federal suitability determination or background investigation. - Must be a United States citizen. - Required to successfully pass a federal background investigation. Preferred Qualifications - Native American/BIA experience preferred. - Experience with Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), or Bureau of Indian Education (BIE). - Experience using FBMS (Financial and Business Management System). - Experience with budget execution reporting tools and financial management systems. - Familiarity with federal acquisition and contracting processes. - Experience monitoring Undelivered Orders (UDO). - Knowledge of federal budget formulation and execution processes. - Experience supporting facilities, construction, asset management, or infrastructure-related programs. Role Description As an Analytics Lead within the Analytics, Insights, & Measurement (AIM) team at Fetch, you will be instrumental in driving analytic support and insights across the Omnichannel vertical, supporting Retail, Restaurant, and Agency partnerships. Reporting to a Director, Analytics, Insights, and Measurement, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of Retail, Restaurant, and/or CPG Insights, and client support to take ownership of analytic processes and become the go-to Analytics contact for Sales counterparts. Scope of Responsibilities: - Analytic Leadership: - Take ownership as the DRI (Directly Responsible Individual) for all partners within a designated sub-vertical. - Act as the primary Analytics contact for Sales managers, requiring little oversight from the Analytics Director and Senior Director. - Support your team and effectively manage the capacity of your peers to ensure deadlines are met and projects are properly prioritized. - Client Support and Insights: - Utilize extensive knowledge of Fetch's offerings to impact partner performance positively. - Independently manage senior-level partner questions, demonstrating a high level of expertise in Retail, Restaurant, or CPG data and insights. - Lead analytic engagement during client calls, showcasing experience in client interaction, objection handling, and problem resolution. - Data Manipulation and Storytelling: - Manipulate data effectively using SQL, ensuring accurate and insightful analysis. - Craft compelling narratives and insights, effectively communicating analytic findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a way that leads to clear recommendations and proposed next steps. - Influence and Representation: - Influence Sales verticals to run campaigns better suited to hitting partner KPIs, driving strategic alignment. - Collaborate in crafting narratives for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), providing valuable insights into Fetch performance.
