Role Description As a Senior Systems Administrator for the Planning and Engineering Department, you will be responsible for supporting our DC network to identify, resolve, and maintain production systems settings and configurations, including auditing, research, and analysis. Reporting to the Director of Industrial Engineering, you will utilize a thorough knowledge of the local DC operational to system processes to ensure DC Operations is educated as needed to prevent recurring issues. In addition, you will: - Leverage extensive Logistics Operational Process knowledge, WMS systems knowledge, and advanced Development and Troubleshooting skills to resolve complex Logistics business needs. - Leverage extensive Logistics end-to-end Operational Process knowledge and automated systems knowledge (WES, WCS, Parcel Shipping, etc.) to quickly resolve complex Logistics business incidents involving integration between systems. - Develop and implement SQL to provide scripting and data collection requests. - Conduct regular system User audits for internal and external compliance and accuracy. - Assess system performance of all DC Systems and provide suggestions for continuous performance improvements. - Perform detailed analysis of Logistics business opportunities to design and implement quality and innovative reporting solutions. - Work with IT WMS Support Team and Operations Management Team to understand and develop new business requirements, ensuring designed solutions support established Operational processes and initiatives – provide constructive feedback as required. - Leverage expertise to partner with Engineers and Reporting Specialist on best methods to build and implement effective reporting tools. Qualifications - 8+ years of technical and operational experience in WMS Systems including development & support of Warehouse Management Systems. - Experience with, and knowledge in, the following: - SQL (Oracle & MySQL), PL/SQL - LextEdit, oracular Moca clients, Winmsql - SQL with JDA/BY table structures - Jira, Confluence - Windows 11, Windows Server 2019 or later, RHEL6 or later - Moca development, Data Driven Applications (DDA), Reporting platforms, Web Visibility - ThoughtSpot - Interfaces with Order Management and Middleware Systems - Common Microsoft Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote, Teams) - Hands-on AI configuration and use (Claude, NOVA, Copilot, PowerAutomate, etc.) for analysis and productivity gains - Strong drive for continuous improvement and advancement of technical skill sets. - Possess a working knowledge of DC operational practices and procedures, and a good understanding of Supply Chain and WMS concepts. - Experience working with Omni-channel, Dotcom, and Retail DC systems and Operations. - Possess proven experience working directly and collaboratively with DC Operations with capacity to build effective relationships with personnel at all levels.
