• Own and execute the club’s organic social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube. • Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with match schedules, transfer windows, club announcements, sponsorship initiatives, and key campaigns. • Drive follower growth, engagement, impressions, and overall audience expansion. • Identify emerging platform opportunities, content formats, and growth strategies. • Translate business and brand objectives into high-performing social content initiatives. • Produce and publish high-volume, platform-native content across multiple social channels. • Repurpose content from club assets, media partners, creators, and user-generated content. • Create engaging short-form and long-form content optimized for each platform. • Independently edit video content and adapt creative assets for different audiences and formats. • Maintain consistency in visual identity, storytelling, and brand presentation. • Actively engage with supporters and followers across all major social platforms. • Monitor comments, direct messages, audience sentiment, and community conversations. • Foster meaningful engagement and strengthen relationships with supporters. • Escalate reputation risks, audience concerns, and important feedback appropriately. • Help build a highly engaged and globally connected football community. • Lead social media execution across match days throughout the season. • Publish real-time content including highlights, reactions, results updates, and behind-the-scenes coverage. • Coordinate with internal media teams and stakeholders to ensure timely content delivery. • Maintain high-quality engagement and storytelling during live sporting events. • Track and analyze key performance metrics including reach, engagement, impressions, video views, and follower growth. • Produce regular performance reports and strategic recommendations. • Identify content gaps, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement. • Apply platform insights and audience data to optimize future content performance. • Continuously refine social media strategies based on evolving trends and results. • Work closely with the Director of Communications, club leadership, media teams, creative partners, and other key stakeholders to execute the club’s digital growth strategy and elevate its global presence.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience managing social media accounts for brands, sports organizations, media companies, entertainment businesses, or similar high-growth consumer-facing environments.
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube, including platform algorithms, audience behaviors, and content best practices.
- Strong experience creating, editing, and publishing both short-form and long-form video content.
- Demonstrated success growing social media audiences organically and improving engagement metrics.
- Strong ability to develop compelling narratives, create engaging content concepts, and adapt messaging across different platforms.
- Experience engaging online communities, managing audience interactions, and building brand loyalty through social media.
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and execute consistently without requiring heavy oversight.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and ambitious growth objectives.
- Willingness to support match-day coverage, including evenings and weekends when required.

Role Description This course is a focused introduction to social innovation in education designed with the assumption that you have little or no business or enterprise experience. Social innovators engage in the process of Human Design to develop and deploy effective solutions to challenging social and environmental issues. Using a Human Design Process, students are exposed to the full process of idea generation to the development of innovative approaches in education. Although the focus is developing a new innovation in education, the course will also serve those who are interested in careers in schools or other organizations by orienting them towards a process of developing a new social innovation.
