Responsibilities include: Project Leadership & Execution - Manage all phases of construction projects, from planning and procurement through execution and closeout. - Interpret plans, specifications, permits, and contract documents to define project requirements and execution strategies. - Coordinate project activities with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. - Support field operations and provide oversight in collaboration with Superintendents and Construction Managers. - Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding schedule, budget, risks, and project status. Estimating & Business Development Support - Prepare competitive cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages. - Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing. - Develop scopes of work, technical approaches, and project execution plans. - Support client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services. Scheduling & Financial Management - Develop and maintain project schedules using critical path scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project. - Track project budgets, costs, productivity, and financial performance. - Prepare change orders, time impact analyses, and supporting contract documentation. - Monitor project profitability and proactively identify solutions to keep projects on track. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in construction, environmental remediation, civil infrastructure, or related industries. - Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client communications. - Strong understanding of construction methods, contract administration, and project controls. - Excellent organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Strong written and verbal communication abilities. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. - Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record. - Ability to travel to project sites throughout the Bay Area and occasionally for extended project assignments.
