In this role, you will help ensure that marketing goals are translated into clear, effective, and high-quality creative output across channels. You will partner closely with marketing and creative teams to develop creative briefs, refine messaging, and support the delivery of work that is aligned to business objectives and the New York Post brand standards. You will work very closely with the VP to ensure solid execution of all marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Creative Brief Development ● Translate marketing objectives into structured and actionable creative briefs ● Define key messaging direction, audience insights, and creative guidance to support execution ● Ensure briefs clearly articulate goals, audience needs, and success criteria Messaging & Copy Development ● Develop, write, and refine copy for consumer marketing materials including digital ads, email campaigns, landing pages, and direct mail ● Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, customer-focused, and aligned with brand voice ● Adapt tone and messaging for different channels and audiences while maintaining coherence Creative Review & Quality Assurance ● Review creative outputs to ensure alignment with approved briefs and brand standards ● Provide structured feedback focused on clarity, effectiveness, and alignment with objectives ● Support continuous improvement of creative quality and consistency across deliverables Testing & Optimization ● Partner with marketing and analytics teams to support A/B testing of creative concepts and messaging ● Contribute to identifying opportunities for performance improvement based on results and insights Brand Consistency ● Support consistency of brand voice and messaging across consumer touchpoints and channels ● Ensure alignment between digital, print, CRM, and other marketing communications Requirements: ● 5–10+ years of experience in creative strategy, copywriting, brand strategy, marketing, advertising, or related disciplines ● Experience working in or with in-house creative teams, agencies, or integrated marketing environments ● Demonstrated experience developing creative briefs and guiding creative execution ● Strong ability to translate business and marketing goals into creative direction ● Excellent written communication and copywriting skills ● Familiarity with consumer marketing principles and audience segmentation ● Understanding of performance marketing concepts such as conversion optimization and campaign testing ● Ability to provide structured, actionable feedback on creative work ● Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience in direct response marketing or performance-driven campaigns ● Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including paid media, CRM, and social platforms ● Experience working with in-house studios or creative production teams Note: This role will adhere to a hybrid work model (subject to change as business needs evolve).
