Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or related field required. Graduate/Advanced Degree (Master’s JD, Ph.D, Etc.) preferred
- Experience (years and type of experience): At least 12 years of experience in insurance placement, underwriting, or brokerage with a significant portion of it in a leadership role. 15+ years experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of various insurance products, industry regulations, market trends, and the competitive landscape
- Certification(s): CPCU, ARM, CIC preferred
- License(s): Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills
- Superior communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
