Human Resources Advisor

Role Description The Advisor, HR is tasked with providing tactical, responsive Human Resources support to a high-volume contact center within the Customer Experience organization. The position serves as the first point of contact and trusted advisor for employee relations issues and human resources policies and processes. The HR advisor will champion, demonstrate and uphold WM Commitments & Values to foster an environment of trust, and employee engagement for a diverse workforce. This role acts as a strategic partner to management and employees, ensuring a positive work environment and compliance with employment laws. We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team and provide dedicated support to our Corporate Customer Experience (Customer Service) organization. This is a primarily remote, individual contributor role and will serve as the primary HR point of contact for approximately 500 remote Customer Service Agents supporting operations across the Central and Eastern time zones. While this role is remote, the ideal candidate will reside within 50 miles of a WM Contact Center for periodic in-person support: - Moody, AL - Phoenix, AZ - Lombard, IL - Westborough, MA - Plymouth, MI - Tupelo, MS - Moon Township, PA - Franklin, TN - Lewisville, TX - Germantown, WI Candidates outside these areas may also be considered. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree: High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience - 2 years of related work experience (in addition to the education requirement) - Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity - Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks - Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite Requirements - Provides reliable and timely coaching and counseling to employees and contact center leadership on issues to ensure consistent, transparent application of policies, procedures, and employment laws - Address employee relations matters by investigating issues, mediating conflicts, and recommending appropriate solutions balancing employee advocacy with stewardship of company policies and employment laws to foster a positive workplace culture - Serves as the HR point of contact supporting/delivering internal processes including Performance Management, New Hire Orientation and Exit interviews under the Corporate hierarchy - Conducts training on company policy, programs, and other issues as they arise - Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements - Partners and participates with local team(s) on recruitment outreach efforts - Serves as an active member of HR related project teams as assigned - Apprise and escalates potential legal, risk, safety, etc. concerns to the HR Manager - Participate in HR projects and process improvements as assigned Benefits - The expected starting pay range for this position across the U.S. is $67,800-$86,500K. This represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
