Essential Duties: Provide guidance and leadership in the development of account plans and strategies for winning new business & beating competition. Assist with the development and delivery of account initiatives to heighten awareness of our brand and product portfolio and solution set. Prospect, discover, qualify, propose and close new business opportunities. Through assigned accounts plans, identify and establish deep relationships with key decision makers and influencers who will participate in the acquisition decision-making process. Grow account and territory revenue by providing insights matching client need and pain points, recommending and proposing SMS solutions and guide the client thru a successful acquisition cycle. Influence customer Decision Process and Decision Criteria at all levels. Identify, leverage and coordinate the involvement of company resources, including support, service, corporate sales & marketing resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations. Develop and work with the Champions to achieve the desired influence in the procurement process. Ensure that relationships are maintained and strengthened across the entire enterprise, including potential relationships for our strategic product verticals. Provide clear and compelling cost/benefit analysis that delineate the cost savings, productivity improvement and improved safety. Meet assigned targets for sales and strategic initiatives. Maintain all CRM systems data and leverage the CRM to develop customer profiles, including anticipated needs and maintain this data for strategic account plans and strategies that drive revenue and create stickiness with the clients. Execute a pipeline management process with qualified opportunities that ensures a make and exceed revenue performance. Leverage the RFP process and team to produce superior, highly impactful RFP responses that exceed customer expectations, and clearly demonstrate the capabilities of Securus aligned with customer’s Decision Criteria. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Review assigned claims, contact the insured and other affected parties, set expectations for the remainder of the claim, and initiate documentation in the claim handling system. Complete coverage analysis including a review of policy coverages and provisions, and the applicability to the reported loss. Ensure all possible policyholder benefits are identified, create additional sub-claims if needed or refer complex claims to management or the appropriate claim handler. Complete an investigation of the facts regarding the claim to further and in more detail determine if the claim should be paid, the applicable limits or exclusions and possible recovery potential. Conduct thorough reviews of damages and determine the applicability of state law and other factors related to the claim. Evaluate the financial value of the loss. Approve payments for the appropriate parties accordingly. Refer claims to other company units when necessary (e.g., Underwriting, Recovery Units or Claims Special Investigation Unit). Thoroughly document and/or code the claim file and complete all claim closure and related activities in the assigned claims management system. Utilize strong negotiating skills. Employees assigned to the Homeowner/CAT claim unit will handle claims generally valued between $5,000 and $25,000 (for the inside desk role) and up to $100,000 (for field role).
