Requirements - Excellent reading comprehension including the ability to translate and communicate complex regulatory documents both verbally and in written format to diversified audiences with various skill levels. - An understanding of medical grouping, editing, and coding, within the healthcare industry. - Knowledge of and experience with ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPCS/CPT coding practices as well as familiarity with various groupers (MS-DRG, APC, APR, etc.). - Ability to multitask, with minimal direction, while meeting aggressive project deadlines. - Experience with HIS Products. - Proven data analysis skills. - Strong technical background. - Proven ability in working/coordinating with 3rd party entities. - Experience with billing. - Claims adjudication. - Patient accounting/patient financial services. - Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payment methodologies and commercial insurance contracts. Role Description The Lead Software Engineer plays a key role in the company’s AI strategy. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the whole platform. The Lead Software Engineer (backend) collaborates closely with Product, Engineering, and Field teams to implement different AI applications.
