Position Overview This role serves as an execution leader for Clients Cloud & Data Center Migration initiative. The Program Director partners closely with Cloud & Data Center Migration Leads to translate strategy into execution, establish strong governance, and ensure predictable delivery across a complex, multiworkstream transformation. The role combines senior program leadership discipline with hands on execution ownership, acting on behalf of the client to drive outcomes across cloud, infrastructure, applications, security, and vendors. Key Responsibilities Program & Transformation Leadership Serve as the overall cloud migration leader for large, multi-year hybrid cloud transformation engagements at strategic enterprise customers Partner with executive stakeholders to work with WWT teams to define transformation vision, success metrics, and phased roadmaps aligned to business outcomes Support the established program governance, operating cadence, financial oversight, risk management, and executive reporting structures and report on our performance Act as a trusted advisor to senior client leadership, providing guidance on strategy, sequencing, investment trade-offs, and risk mitigation Program Strategy & Delivery Ownership Manage the overall Cloud & Data Center migration roadmap , milestones, and success metrics across all program workstreams Translate executive objectives into executable delivery plans (waves & phases of the program) Ensure alignment between: Cloud strategy, Data center exit timelines, Application modernization readiness, Infrastructure and operational preparedness Drive a disciplined delivery cadence (monthly planning, weekly commitments, daily priorities as needed) CrossWorkstream Orchestration Act as the integration layer across infrastructure, application development, security, networking, operations, finance, and vendors Identify and manage interdependencies between workstreams Resolve conflicts in priorities, sequencing, and resource allocation Ensure workstreams progress in a coordinated, end to end manner , not as isolated efforts Governance & Executive Communication Lead executive level reporting , including RAG status, KPIs, Migration velocity and progress indicators for the program. Run core governance forums, including Steering committees, Executive leadership readouts, Milestone and readiness reviews. Surface risks early with clear mitigation paths and decision options . Provide crisp, outcome focused updates to senior sponsors and stakeholders Risk, Dependency & Issue Management Maintain a single, integrated RAID view across all workstreams Anticipate systemic risks, including: Capacity and resourcing constraints, Tooling and platform readiness, Application and infrastructure alignment, Security and compliance gates Drive mitigation actions to closure and remove blockers through escalation and cross organizational coordination Operational Readiness & Migration Execution Ensure thru workstream owners’ foundational capabilities are in place to support migration execution, including cloud, infrastructure, and operational readiness (as implied across workstreams) Oversee wave planning, sequencing, and readiness validation for migrations Coordinate execution across internal teams and vendors / systems integrators to support go lives and stabilization, including driving a command center for migrations Delivery Leadership & Discipline Provide hands on coaching to program and workstream leaders on: Planning rigor, RAID ownership, Executive communication Standardize core program artifacts (status, scorecards, risk logs, runbooks) Review plans for realism and completeness; step in directly when execution is off track Model strong operational discipline and delivery behaviors across the program
Job Requirements
- Prior experience working with or within financial institutions
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture, infrastructure operations, and vendor-led delivery models
- Experience standing up or running
- transformation governance models
- Background in consulting, transformation offices, or complex multi-vendor programs
- 15+ years of progressive experience in cloud, infrastructure, or digital transformation roles
- 8+ years leading large-scale, enterprise cloud or infrastructure modernization programs
- Proven experience engaging and leading executive-level client stakeholders
- Demonstrated success managing large, multi-disciplinary teams across architecture, infrastructure, applications, and governance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Willingness to travel up to 30–40%
- Technical & Domain Expertise
- Deep understanding of Hybrid, Private, and Public Cloud strategies
- Strong hands-on and leadership experience with platforms
- Strong understanding of enterprise cloud ecosystems, operating models, and financial considerations
- Ability to understand complex technology interdependencies across infrastructure, applications, security, and operations
- Strongly Desired Skills
- Senior-level cloud or infrastructure certifications
- Experience driving factory-based migration and modernization programs
