Your work will focus on building and iterating on a website that prioritizes speed, accessibility, and ease of management for the entire team. What You'll Do: - Architect, build and maintain our Marketing website using React, Next.js and Tailwind.css with a focus on performance and scalability. - Partner with design to implement polished, pixel-perfect UI components with a strong eye for detail. - Integrate with third party services including analytics, CMS, Marketo Forms and A/B testing tools - Establish and maintain staging and production deployments with reliability and speed. - Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to translate campaign and product goals into technical solutions. - Drive Core Web Vitals scores, SEO best practices and web accessibility across all the pages. - Govern and continuously optimize development and operations workflows - from branching strategies and release processes to incident response time. Basic Qualifications: - At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply) - At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of front-end engineering experience - Strong understanding of React and Next JS including App Router, server components and SSG/SSR strategies. - Strong understanding of TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and responsive/accessible components - Experience integrating with headless CMS platforms and third party APIs - Experience working directly with Marketing and design stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows - 3+ years of experience with Contentful CMS - Experience with design systems Figma, ShadCn UI At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
