Job Description

Working Student — Agentic Software Engineering

SFX E-Commerce

• Build data and backend features in our stack (TypeScript + Go, Postgres) — from idea to live on Cloud Run • Orchestrate LLM agents (Claude Code / Codex) to deliver faster — you review them, get them running and take responsibility for the outcome • Improve embeddings-based product matching (pgvector + Gemini) and solve edge cases • Automatically capture competitive and market data and make it actionable • Build knowledge pipelines: data from diverse sources → structured → searchable → autonomous data processing • Own a domain, deliver independently, and provide a short daily report

Job Requirements

  • Resident in Germany and enrolled at a German university (working-student status) — no freelancers / self-employed
  • Preferably a Master’s student close to graduation — only the thesis remaining (but still enrolled) and able to focus fully
  • Practical experience with both TypeScript and Go (not just one of them)
  • Confident with Postgres/SQL, APIs, Git; plus: pgvector/embeddings, scraping, LLM APIs
  • Productive experience with ChatGPT / Claude / Cursor / Codex
  • Strong asynchronous communication — writes clearly, documents decisions, and drives work forward without meetings
  • Very good command of English or German

Benefits

  • 100% remote
  • Flexible hours (approx. 20 h/week; max. 20 h during lecture term)
  • Fair compensation: €19–22/h gross, above standard for working students
