• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, MSAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, DPAs, and NDAs • Draft and review RFP responses, including bid documentation and contract terms, in collaboration with the legal team • Support the Sales team with contract review and help address customer legal terms • Provide general legal support to internal teams, including HR and Operations, on issues like policy interpretation, disciplinary documentation, and compliance with employment-related laws • Help maintain contract templates and legal guidance documents • Support Mango’s ISO 27001 certification and data privacy posture by ensuring contract terms align with information security and privacy standards • Collaborate with Finance, Security, and other internal teams to align contract terms with company policies and priorities • Proofread and quality-check contracts and RFP responses for accuracy and consistency • Help improve legal operations by contributing to more efficient contract workflows, document management, and internal processes, in collaboration with the legal team • Be available occasionally outside standard business hours to collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives
Job Requirements
- JD and bar admission in good standing (any U.S. state)
- 6+ years of legal experience, with significant time reviewing and negotiating SaaS contracts
- Strong understanding of liability, indemnity, IP, data privacy, employment-related issues, and commercial terms
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 and its impact on contract terms and vendor/customer expectations
- High attention to detail, you’re careful, thorough, and catch small errors before they become problems
- Comfortable managing multiple agreements and deadlines at once
- Clear, direct communicator who can explain legal terms to non-lawyers
- Proficient with a MacBook, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Experience working with a B2B SaaS company preferred
