In this full-time, remote contractor position, you will collaborate with a team of linguists and subject matter experts to develop language learning content and supplemental educational resources. The Linguist Assistant is responsible for reviewing and delivering detailed work critical for the completion of Mango’s current curriculum content development projects, as well as supporting Linguists on various teams in daily operations and administrative tasks. Candidates must demonstrate that they are able to effectively manage large-scale projects requiring patience and close attention to detail. They will be expected to work independently and maintain motivation through repetitive, small-scale tasks while consistently producing quality content. The ideal candidate will also be an adept copy editor, with an eye for accuracy, consistency, and cultural sensitivity. This person is interested in language learning and will be a language learner themselves. Knowledge of and enthusiasm for innovating with AI to streamline work processes is highly valuable. Mango Languages is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable K12 certified Spanish instructors for Mango Live, our online live instruction program. In this remote contract position, you’ll prepare personalized blended learning assignments and live sessions using proprietary Mango Languages learning tools. You’ll instruct and assess small (3-6) and large (7+) groups of K12 Spanish students. In your classes, you will use the communicative approach as well as proprietary methodologies and curricula to facilitate our online live instruction sessions. This remote position allows you to connect from anywhere in the world and enjoy the flexibility to work at hours that suit you and your schedule. In this role, you will be part of a diverse team of instructors and administrators who are there to support you and exchange ideas. Regular feedback and ongoing training will help you grow as an individual and professional. • Provide live expert consultation on the industry standard best practices of FLEX/World Language Discovery Programs. • Review and provide detailed feedback on drafted instructional content (lesson plans, worksheets, slide decks, other teacher resources) to ensure efficacy and high quality. • Collaborate with the content team to ensure instruction methods and cultural content is appropriate and engaging for young learners. • Contribute to the development of ancillary resources for training, marketing, or sales purposes regarding the FLEX program.

• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, MSAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, DPAs, and NDAs • Draft and review RFP responses, including bid documentation and contract terms, in collaboration with the legal team • Support the Sales team with contract review and help address customer legal terms • Provide general legal support to internal teams, including HR and Operations, on issues like policy interpretation, disciplinary documentation, and compliance with employment-related laws • Help maintain contract templates and legal guidance documents • Support Mango’s ISO 27001 certification and data privacy posture by ensuring contract terms align with information security and privacy standards • Collaborate with Finance, Security, and other internal teams to align contract terms with company policies and priorities • Proofread and quality-check contracts and RFP responses for accuracy and consistency • Help improve legal operations by contributing to more efficient contract workflows, document management, and internal processes, in collaboration with the legal team • Be available occasionally outside standard business hours to collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives
