Job Description

Business Analyst

IDMWORKS

• Assess the current state of IAM environments and systems by facilitating and participating in interviews with key stakeholders and document review. • Facilitate meetings with technical and business stakeholders to elicit business and functional requirements and conduct business process analysis. • Plan, coordinate, and conduct the analysis of client business processes and functional requirements and the preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information. • Review and analyze client and system data to evaluate the strength and usefulness of the data and aid in the design/implementation of IAM systems. • Draft and review use case, process workflows, analysis reports, requirements documents, and other documentation. • Work with IAM architects and engineers to assist with creation of design documentation. • Develop test plans and test cases for IAM solutions. • Perform document reviews for compliance with standardized templates as well as checking for spelling, grammar, tone, and consistency. • Communicate status including timely reporting and escalation of issues and risks. • Author technical documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with the following IAM components: Identity Governance and Administration, Access Management, SSO/Federation, Privileged Access Management, Enterprise Directories.
  • Knowledge of the nine project management knowledge areas: Cost Management, Time/Schedule Management, Scope Management, Risk Management, Human Resource Management, Integration Management, Procurement Management, Communications Management, Quality Management.
  • 2+ years of experience in supporting IT, preferably in operations or business analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience in information technology in an area related to customer service, customer liaison, customer relationship management or vendor management.
  • 2+ years of experience with requirements gathering and business process documentation.
  • 2+ years of experience with IAM administration/implementation experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration or an IT-related field or equivalent experience.
