Role Description Remote World connects South African professionals with leading UK employers — and we're currently looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join one of our UK client teams, fully remote. This role is a great fit if you have a solid background in payroll processing, enjoy working with numbers, and understand the importance of accuracy and confidentiality. You'll take ownership of the payroll cycle and make sure employees are paid correctly and on time, every time. - Process monthly and weekly payroll accurately within set deadlines - Maintain and update employee records, including new starters, leavers, and changes - Calculate statutory payments such as sick pay, holiday pay, and maternity/paternity pay - Reconcile payroll data and liaise with finance to ensure correct reporting - Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner - Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal payroll policies Qualifications - Experience in a payroll administration or payroll processing role - Familiarity with payroll software and spreadsheet tools - Strong numerical ability and a high level of accuracy - Understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements - Discretion when handling sensitive and confidential employee data - Reliable internet connection and a professional home workspace Benefits - R17,000–R21,000 per month (based on experience) - 100% remote — work from anywhere in South Africa - Working hours: 11:00–19:00 SAST (09:00–17:00 UK time) - Stable, long-term position with a reputable UK employer - Dedicated support from the Remote World team throughout onboarding Company Description
