Credit Portfolio Manager IV – Asset Based Lending
Atlantic Union Bank
• Responsible for providing an independent perspective in underwriting and managing complex Wholesale Banking loans and relationships • Partners with Relationship Managers, Credit Officers, Credit Portfolio Managers, and the Credit Portfolio Management Team Leader in delivering credit solutions • Participates or leads client calls for in-depth financial questions and other portfolio management requirements • Leads the independent underwriting process for new and renewal opportunities for clients • Provides in-depth, independent and objective analysis of financial statements and other credit risk management deliverables • Prepares detailed financial projections within a vendor-provided credit tool or within an Excel template • Makes recommendations regarding credit amount, structure, and policy compliance • Manages assigned portfolio by proactively monitoring performance and trends • Effectively prioritizes new deal, renewal and portfolio management requirements • Exhibits willingness to lead additional special projects as delegated
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Seven or more years of experience in a commercial lending environment
- Employed at Atlantic Union Bank for more than 12 consecutive months
- Working institutional knowledge of the Bank credit policy and risk & industry appetite
- Demonstrate the highest level of credit aptitude, analytical skills, and industry knowledge across respective line of business and deal types
- Skilled in the analysis of financial statements, tax returns and cash flows of commercial & industrial companies, or commercial & residential real estate companies
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
- PC proficiency with Word and Excel
