• Understand the structure of a pre-press file, color space, and requirements necessary for successful results • Attends any client meetings (e.g. pre-production) as necessary • Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely completion of high quality basic to intermediate or complex level Artwork • Create simple/basic 2D and/or 3D renders • 2D image manipulation – packaging artwork and final product image • Meet quality standards for assigned deliverables and make recommendations to Management for improvements • Use internal MIS to record accurate data on personal production timings • Create strong and effective internal partnerships, and collaborate across clients • Able to work in rotational shifts

Job Requirements

  • Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience (2+ years)
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Advertising, Interior Design or other related fields such as fine arts or fashion preferred
  • Previous experience in prepress, graphic arts, or related field in print manufacturing required
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Print Pre-Press knowledge
  • Color Management knowledge
  • RGB & CMYK
  • Previous experience using Mac OS; Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint); Adobe Creative Suite (including Bridge, Photoshop, and Illustrator) required.

Responsibilities - Create high-quality vegetation models and textures, including terrain textures (Biome). - Work with the design team to ensure models support gameplay objectives. - Meet style and quality targets established by the Art Director. - Collaborate closely with the Technical Art Director and Lead Artist to understand and, if necessary, establish production processes that consider the technical constraints of the game. - Create base geometry, apply materials, and add detail to various elements. - Participate in the development of procedural systems used to apply vegetation across the entire game. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as a 3D Artist in the video game industry. - Shipped at least 2 multiplatform titles. - In-depth knowledge of the techniques and processes involved in creating a video game. - Expert in 3DS Max and/or other equivalent 3D software. - In-depth knowledge of SpeedTree. - In-depth knowledge of Substance Designer/Painter, Photoshop, and ZBrush. - Good communication skills in French and English. - Enthusiastic, positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
