Brown & Brown is seeking Associate Implementation Consultant to join our growing team! The Associate Implementation Consultant is a key team member of the National Employee Benefits Technology (EBTech) Department. The department deploys various software tools to our valued customers and their employees for use in health care reform compliance, automated benefits enrollment, and other needs for automation. The incumbent is responsible for carrying out and overseeing various aspects of that software implementation process, including data analysis/audits, EDI configuration, testing, training, and presentation of their work to customers. The candidate must also be very detail and deadline oriented. The Data/EDI Specialist works directly with customer contacts How You Will Contribute: - Audit and upload data for moderately (or greater) complex new client website implementations or on an ongoing basis for existing clients. - Create and configure new and existing EDI files for moderately (or greater) complex client websites (using third party software). Solve and Troubleshoot Issues - Proficient at root cause analysis and serves as subject matter resource in customer meetings, as needed. Quality Assurance - Primarily responsible with final testing and auditing of own and less senior teammates’ work to ensure proper functioning, with oversight. - Accountable for individual quality assurance on low to moderate complexity builds. Clients/Client Projects - Works on moderate complexity (or greater) client projects. Client Meetings - Participation in client meetings as needed. Client Support - Provide direct and indirect (through teammate development) daily support to assigned clients and/or clients as directed. - Developing root cause analysis skills to provide direct daily support to assigned clients as directed. - Anticipates and responds to client support questions as assigned and works directly with clients. Relationships - Build courteous and successful relationships with clients, vendors and carriers to improve client retention. General - Promote teamwork, support, knowledge sharing and a positive attitude in the department and office. - Promote a commitment to achieve or exceed internal and external performance standards both individually and through teammates. - Strong ability to interpret and follow SOPs and assist with providing guidance on the development of SOPs, and provide SOP process improvement considerations for primary platform. - Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information, new product development, legislation, coverages, and technology. - Pursues a course of personal, professional development. All other duties as assigned. Skills & Experience to be Successful: - Minimum education required: Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience - 2-5 years of applicable software implementation experience - Ability to readily learn and apply new information/concepts - Proficient with MS Office Suite - Experience working with personal computer database applications - Exceptional telephone demeanor - Exceptional telephone demeanor, professional approach to problem-solving - Attention to detail and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality - Ability to travel for work if requested (Less than 5% of the time) -- Preferred - 2-4 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in the insurance, human resources, or financial sectors Pay Range $65k - $75k Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role. Title: Nutrition Consultant Location: New York United States Hybrid Job Description: Originally founded in 1991 as Harlem RBI, DREAM has grown to annually serve more than 2,500 youth across East Harlem and the South Bronx through a network of seven PreK-12, extended-day, extended-year DREAM Charter Schools and community sports-based youth development programs. Through our commitment to rigorous academics, social-emotional learning, deep family and community engagement, and health and wellness, we create lifelong learners who are equipped to fulfill their vision of success in and out of the classroom. We dream big, as well, with an aggressive five-year plan to expand to serve 3,500 students across seven schools-growing our organization's impact and leveling the playing field for all children. The Nutritionist will support DREAM's Head Start Early Childhood Program by utilizing health and nutrition trend data, community assessment, and other community indicators to inform health and wellness planning, and to target specific interventions to at-risk children and families. This is a contracted role, not a full-time or part-time employee. Scope of Work - Provide guidance related to special diets (medical documentation, special diet purchases, special diet menus, etc.); - In collaboration with the Program Chef, develop and implement Individual Nutrition Plans for children with dietary restrictions; - Work with DREAM's Kitchen team to develop and/or refine menus especially for children switch special diets; - Ensure that all staff understand children's special dietary needs; - Ensure that all classrooms have up to date food allergy lists that include food substitutions for children with special diets; - In collaboration with the Program Chef, provide input on policies and procedures for assessing a child's nutritional status; - Provide nutrition education and training to both staff and families; - In collaboration with Program Chef, effectively coordinate with others to maintain nutrition requirements documentation and follow up; - Manage time effectively to optimize hours; - Additional duties related to the area of nutrition, as requested. Requirements - Registered Dietitian or Licenced Nutritionist (Bachelor's and Master's from an institution accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), completed an ACEND-accredited, supervised practice program at a health care facility, community agency, or a food service corporation, passed the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)'s national exam); - Bilingual (Spanish/English), highly preferred; - Significant experience working with families of children ages 0-5 in low-income communities supporting their health, nutrition, and wellness goals; - Significant experience providing training to staff who work with children ages 0-5; - Excellent written and verbal communication; - A strong belief in the mission and values of DREAM, including the desire to make a difference in the lives of our students, families, and community; - Background checks required to work in our buildings.
