Role Description The Project Manager oversees the full lifecycle of complex organizational and IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and successful execution. This role leverages project management, change management, and process improvement expertise to drive efficiency, resource optimization, and strategic results. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm CST Salary Range: $85,000- $105,000 commensurate with experience Location: Remote - Must be US based, and able to work with no restrictions in the US in a remote home office. How Project Managers Empower Recovery - Project Execution: - Manage and deliver complex IT and organizational projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timeline. - Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and EHR integrations. - Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation to ensure projects meet defined goals. - Change Management: - Implement structured methodologies to prioritize and manage organizational resources effectively. - Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to drive adoption and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. - Risk and Issue Management: - Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful outcomes. - Manage scope changes by documenting, reviewing, and obtaining stakeholder approval. - Collaboration and Communication: - Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, milestones, dependencies, costs, and success criteria. - Develop and manage communication plans, providing clear and regular updates to stakeholders. - Liaise with internal and external project managers, systems integrators, and contractors to ensure cohesive project execution. - Process Improvement and Governance: - Assist in developing and rolling out IT PMO standards and processes. - Facilitate post-implementation reviews and lessons learned to improve future project execution. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or higher required, or equivalent experience. Requirements - Experience managing complex projects and programs, including Gantt chart creation. - Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet). - PMP certification preferred. - Experience with new application implementation (e.g., ERP, EHR, TMS). - Knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems integration. - Experience establishing and executing IT PMO processes. Competencies - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound, independent decisions. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proven ability to manage projects with budgets from concept to completion. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to guide and support others. Workplace Environment - Collaborative and dynamic environment requiring flexibility and adaptability to evolving priorities. - Long periods of time spent working on a computer, including tasks such as data analysis, report preparation, and project planning. - Regular interaction with cross-functional teams/leadership, requiring strong virtual and in-person collaboration skills. - Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment with shifting requirements. - Potential need for extended hours during critical project phases or deadlines. - Occasional travel to project sites or stakeholder locations for meetings, system implementations, or training sessions.
