Website Developer, Designer

FOUNDRY

• Build new websites from scratch, from designer mockups, or from client brand guidelines on WordPress and/or Webflow • Customize themes, templates, and layouts to match brand and design direction • Own ongoing website maintenance, including updates, security, backups, performance optimization, bug fixes, content updates, and small feature additions • Translate designs and brand guidelines into clean, responsive, high-quality websites • Build with technical SEO and site performance in mind (page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness) • Manage and maintain multiple websites across Nexus clients and Foundry for Good brands simultaneously • Troubleshoot and resolve site issues quickly and reliably • Join client calls to present work, gather direction, and explain technical considerations clearly • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and account managers to deliver sites that meet client goals and quality standards • Maintain organized project files, documentation, and asset libraries

Job Requirements

  • Based in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term role
  • 3+ years of website development and design experience
  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present work clearly to clients
  • Strong academic background with an outstanding General Weighted Average
  • Degree in Web Development, Design, Computer Science, Multimedia Arts, or a related field
  • Deep expertise in WordPress or Webflow (expertise in both is a plus), with willingness to grow across both
  • Strong proficiency working within themes, templates, and visual editors (e.g., Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, or Webflow's designer)
  • Solid HTML/CSS skills for customization and troubleshooting; JavaScript familiarity is a plus
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating polished, responsive websites
  • Good design sense and the ability to translate mockups and brand guidelines into high-quality sites
  • An understanding of technical SEO and site performance best practices (no need to be an SEO expert)
  • Comfort with design tools such as Figma (for working from mockups and handoff) and Adobe Suite or Canva is a plus
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple builds and maintenance work across many sites
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable in resolving issues
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Prior experience in an agency or fast-paced environment is a strong plus
