• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to automate build, test, and deployment processes • Integrate and manage toolchains including Jira, SAP Solution Manager (Solman) CHaRM, SonarQube, and Fortify DAST • Collaborate with SAP ABAP developers, functional teams, and security stakeholders to translate requirements into automated pipeline capabilities • Conduct analysis of alternative DevOps tools and recommend modern, open‑source solutions to enhance the pipeline • Create and maintain detailed documentation for pipeline configurations, architecture, and development team usage • Manage automated testing and security scanning workflows, ensuring code quality and security compliance • Provide strategic guidance on the evolution of the DevSecOps platform, including enhancements, scaling, and new tool integrations • Mentor and train team members on DevOps best practices and effective use of the pipeline
Job Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role
- Proven experience designing and managing complex CI/CD pipelines, preferably in GitLab
- Hands-on experience with Jira, SonarQube, Fortify (or similar SAST/DAST tools), and pipeline automation
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and implementing security in automated pipelines
- Experience integrating testing frameworks and automated security scanning
- Strong documentation, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
