Senior Internal Communications Associate

Zero Gravity Civil Tech

• Partner with the Communications Director to develop internal communication objectives, strategies, and tactics that support business goals and employee engagement. • Plan, manage, and execute an internal editorial calendar, including content deadlines, channel planning, and stakeholder coordination. • Write and publish content across internal communication channels, including the intranet, newsletters, employee announcements, and other owned platforms. • Review enterprise-wide internal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, brand alignment, and appropriate tone of voice. • Support executive communications, including town halls, leadership messaging, communication toolkits, presentations, and other corporate communication forums. • Lead and support internal recognition and employee engagement programs, including nomination campaigns, communication timelines, award promotion, and related logistics. • Own the day-to-day editorial flow across internal channels, including newsletters, intranet updates, employee announcements, and internal social discussion boards. • Track channel performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve engagement, workflow, and communication effectiveness. • Manage incoming communication requests and prioritize based on timing, channel fit, business impact, and audience needs. • Identify opportunities to improve internal communication workflows, tools, templates, and processes.

Job Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing communications, employee communications, or a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience supporting internal communications within a B2B organization.
  • Experience managing editorial calendars, communication requests, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities at once.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leaders and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with intranet platforms, newsletters, employee announcements, and web-based content platforms.
  • AEC experience is preferred, but not required. Experience in adjacent industries such as power and energy, oil and gas, land development, construction, homebuilding, real estate development, or professional services would also be highly relevant.

Role Description The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Manager of Field Marketing and Communications to provide tactical marketing and communications support across the Lakes to Coast Territory. This role is responsible for developing and executing a wide range of marketing and communications materials and strategies that enhance awareness, engagement, and participation across mission and fundraising priorities. The Manager plays a key role in content creation, digital channel management, and production of tools and templates to support local implementation and brand consistency across the territory. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, digital communicator, and project manager who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about advancing the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association.
