The mission of the Partner Development Manager, MSP is to support the growth and retention of LogicMonitor’s Managed Service Provider ecosystem by developing foundational partner management and sales skills. This role focuses on supporting strategic MSP relationships, contributing to new partner sourcing efforts, and assisting in expansion and renewal activities to drive annual recurring revenue (ARR). Operating within a targeted coverage model, the Partner Development Manager builds product, partner, and sales expertise while progressing toward full ownership of MSP partners and sales motions. Here's a closer look at this key role: Partner Support & Account Execution - Support a defined set of MSP partners. - Assist with expansion and renewal activities, including deal preparation, quoting, and follow-up. - Maintain accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and opportunity updates within LogicMonitor’s CRM. - Partner with Sales Engineering and cross-functional teams to support partner engagements and deal execution. New MSP Sourcing & Pipeline Development - Participate in prospecting activities to identify and engage potential MSP partners through outbound efforts, BDR collaboration, and targeted outreach. - Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities and assist in advancing them through early sales stages. - Support full sales cycles by coordinating discovery, demos, and follow-up activities. Partner Engagement & Enablement - Build relationships with MSP partners by understanding their business models, service offerings, and growth objectives. - Support partner adoption of LogicMonitor by assisting with enablement activities, dashboards, reporting, and value-oriented touchpoints. - Monitor partner engagement and adoption signals, escalating risks or opportunities to senior team members. Sales Methodology & Skill Development - Learn and apply LogicMonitor’s sales methodology across acquisition, expansion, and renewal motions. - Develop foundational skills in discovery, value-based selling, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement. - Actively participate in coaching, training, and enablement to progress toward greater ownership and responsibility. What You'll Need: - - 6+ years of experience in sales, partner management, business development, or customer-facing roles. - Interest in SaaS, MSPs, and technology-driven business models. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to learn and articulate product value to both technical and business audiences. - Highly organized with attention to detail in CRM usage, forecasting inputs, and follow-through. - Coachable mindset with a strong desire to grow into a closing role.
