Role Description The Associate Project Manager/Project Coordinator supports the successful delivery of end‑to‑end projects across C5MI’s portfolio. This role applies project management and risk management best practices to drive execution, maintain alignment with customer requirements, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget go‑lives. As a trusted advisor, the Associate Project Manager builds strong relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring clarity, accountability, and a high‑quality delivery experience. Essential Functions & Responsibilities - Lead day‑to‑day project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and budget management. - Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring clear expectations, strong relationships, and high satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. - Coordinate cross‑functional teams, assign work, and maintain accountability for quality and delivery standards. - Prepare and maintain project documentation such as schedules, reports, and presentations. - Support clients with communications, change management, training, and testing activities. - Estimate project scope, costs, resources, and timelines; ensure compliance with SOW requirements and C5MI policies. - Identify risks, resolve issues, mediate conflicts, and proactively remove roadblocks to maintain project momentum. - Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to senior leaders and stakeholders. - Ensure smooth go‑lives and project closures, including client acceptance, documentation, and knowledge transfer. - Travel to client sites as needed to assist with implementation and go-live activities - must be willing to travel up to 25% throughout the year, varying based on client needs. - Adhere to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; or a high school diploma with equivalent experience. - Exposure to SAP technology implementation and/or operational support. - Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana). - Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or similar delivery frameworks. - Active government clearance or the ability to obtain one (U.S. Citizenship required). - Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment. - Strong adaptability and eagerness to learn. - Excellent customer and escalation management skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously. - Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail. - Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. - Aware of legal and regulatory requirements relevant to project work. Nice to Have (Not Required) - Experience with at least one full cycle implementation is a plus. - Understanding of SAP Activate methodology is a plus. - Government contracting experience is a plus. Compensation In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $27.39hr – $34.34hr rate annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
