This individual will work closely with data owners and stakeholders to translate business processes and requirements into scalable reporting tools, dashboards, and data models that support operational and strategic decision-making. This role involves full lifecycle BI development, including building and enhancing reports in tools such as Power BI and SSRS, developing and maintaining SQL Server databases, and supporting SSAS tabular models through creation of measures, relationships, and row-level security. The BI Developer will also assist with ETL processes, including monitoring data pipelines, troubleshooting performance issues, and optimizing SQL queries and integrations to ensure system reliability and efficiency. Additionally, this role will contribute to data warehouse design and architecture, support documentation of data processes and business rules, and provide ongoing support to end users by resolving reporting issues and managing requests. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across both technical and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. • Managing the full lifecycle of analytics and dashboard deliverables, from requirements gathering through development, validation, documentation, and ongoing maintenance • Partnering with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document reporting requirements in a consultative manner • Designing and managing data models within Qlik, including understanding how tables relate, join keys, and the impact of data structure on output accuracy • Identifying and documenting data sources, joins, transformations, and the logic behind key calculations for each deliverable • Validating source data quality and structure before building • Maintaining centralized documentation covering requirements, data lineage, business rules, access, and update history • Performing quality assurance to confirm that report outputs align with documented requirements and business expectations • Providing proactive status updates on active work and maintaining a current view of the overall analytics portfolio • Collaborating with data engineers, process owners, finance, IT, and other stakeholders to resolve data quality and delivery issues

• Develop and optimize Power BI solutions using advanced DAX, including measures, time intelligence, and performance optimization patterns. • Design and maintain data models based on strong data modeling principles (star schema, relationships, cardinality). • Write and validate SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. • Build and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI, including dashboards, dataflows, reusable templates, and Paginated Reports. • Implement performance optimization techniques, including incremental refresh and handling large datasets. • Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) for controlled data access. • Integrate Power BI solutions with cloud and data engineering platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric. • Work across Dev, Test, and Production environments following proper deployment workflows. • Use Git for version control, including branching, pull requests, and deployment processes. • Produce clear technical and business-facing documentation for reports, models, and solutions.
