• Conduct technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals • Identify and resolve issues affecting organic visibility including 404s, 410s, redirect chains, duplicate content, and canonicalization • Implement and optimize schema markup and structured data for search and AI answer engines • Audit on-page fundamentals including title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, and page speed • Prioritize fixes by impact and translate technical findings into clear recommendations • Build and manage content calendars targeting non-brand organic keywords and AI-answer queries • Write or oversee a minimum of 20 publish-ready blog posts per month across client accounts • Research keyword clusters and map content to search intent and buyer journey stages • Structure content for AI answer engines with clear headings, direct answers, and scannable formats that earn citations in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude • Identify content gaps and prioritize based on traffic potential, competition, and lead-gen value • Develop strategies to get clients cited and recommended in AI-generated responses • Monitor AI platform presence using tools like Scrunch AI and adjust content strategy accordingly • Structure pages with clear definitional content, comparison frameworks, and direct-answer formats that AI models surface • Track citation rates, prompt coverage, and AI recommendation share as part of regular reporting • Report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, AI citation presence, and content performance • Translate data into clear insights and prioritized next steps, not just numbers • Communicate progress, blockers, and wins to internal stakeholders and clients
Job Requirements
- Proven experience managing SEO for websites that generate organic traffic and leads
- Strong technical SEO skills including the ability to run an audit, identify problems, and know how to fix them
- Demonstrated ability to write or edit SEO content that ranks with a clear understanding of structure, intent, and what makes a page useful
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, GA4, and keyword research tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or equivalent
- Understanding of how AI answer engines work and what it takes to get content cited
- Ability to manage multiple clients or projects simultaneously without losing quality or missing deadlines
- High output with the ability to write 20 or more posts per month while maintaining quality across all of them
