Production Coordinator / Producer

Role Description We're looking for a Production Coordinator to join a Creative Team within the Communications team, focusing on the owned and operated official brand social accounts across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for supporting all production efforts on hundreds of content projects from conception to execution and evaluation. This person should be passionate about all things social media. The ideal candidate is highly organized, prioritizes attention to detail, thrives in a multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment, and has a demonstrated ability of working with a global team to create daily social content across various platforms for an international audience. Additionally, this individual should have experience working with a creative team, varied media formats, editors and animators, strong communication, and technical understanding of social media platforms. - Assist team with all elements of production including: - Help manage daily pre-production, production and post-production deadlines - Assist producers with required services agreements, purchase orders, licensing and releases for projects - Help Production Manager keep track of project estimates and expenses - Support Production Manager in editorial calendaring, planning, and data accuracy - Review budget and production schedules and update as needed while reporting recommendations and justifications for changes to management - Update team resources and documentation - Coordinate content workflows with freelancers - Support transcriptions and translation services for projects - Help with shipping and logistics for equipment and media - Track equipment inventory + rentals - Media management and archiving - Conduct QA of all final deliverables - Publish all content across the social media platforms - Support media and community operations workflows for team Qualifications - 4+ years of production experience - Experience in coordinating production for editorial video assets for social media - Experience in managing production across multiple mediums: documentaries, short-form, narrative, and brand social - Familiar with licensing and working with legal on contracts and agreements - Experience managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders - Experience running small to large-sized projects with multiple stakeholders - Experience managing external creative and production partners - Able to build working relationships with core and cross-functional teams - Able to work and thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment - Communicate and enforce editorial standards - Able to manage production of high caliber content with limited resources - Familiarity with social media platforms, creative tools, publishing, and project management software Requirements - Marketing communications Benefits - Medical, dental & vision - Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital - 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available - Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) - Short and long-term disability - Health Spending Account (HSA) - Transportation benefits - Employee Assistance Program - Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) Company Description This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.
