Digital Public Relations Strategist

• Plan, develop, and execute data-driven digital PR campaigns aligned with business goals • Collaborate closely with SEO, Editorial, and Data teams to ideate and produce compelling, insight-led content designed for media outreach • Secure high-quality media coverage across national, trade, and niche publications • Craft strong, newsworthy pitches to promote proprietary data, expert commentary, and timely insights • Track campaign performance and media placements to inform future strategy and optimization

Job Requirements

  • Experience in digital PR, SEO-focused PR, or media relations
  • Understanding of how earned media supports brand perception, organic search performance and LLM
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Understanding of how to structure and evaluate a story to maximize media attention
  • Experience using AI tools to support research, ideation, and data collection
  • Experience working within a digital publisher, affiliate marketing, or content-led organization (preferred)
  • Familiarity with financial services, insurance, health, home, and/or small business verticals (preferred)
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with SEO, editorial, analytics, and marketing teams (preferred)

Qualifications - Terminal degree in public safety or closely related field with 18 hours in field/subject area OR Master’s degree in public safety with terminal degree in closely related field. Requirements - Proficient with computers and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. - Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. - Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others. - Work with minimal supervision. - Position will require work after business hours and on weekends.
