Nutanix Architect

MetroSys, Inc.

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for Nutanix and HCI-related engagements • Lead architecture design, workshops, and discovery sessions with clients • Design and deliver Nutanix solutions across: AOS (Acropolis OS) AHV virtualization Prism (Element/Central) Files, Objects, and Calm automation • Develop target-state architectures, migration strategies, and modernization roadmaps • Lead data center transformations, including: Legacy virtualization migrations (VMware/Hyper-V to AHV) Infrastructure consolidation and refresh • Define and implement high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies • Provide oversight for deployment, configuration, and migration activities • Act as escalation point for complex technical issues and architectural decisions • Contribute to pre-sales efforts, including solution design, SOW development, and client presentations • Produce high-quality deliverables, including architecture diagrams, design documentation, and recommendations

Job Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture or senior engineering roles
  • Deep expertise with: Nutanix AOS, AHV, and Prism HCI architecture and design principles
  • Strong understanding of: Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Storage and compute architecture
  • Networking within HCI environments
  • Experience leading enterprise infrastructure transformations and migrations
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Nutanix certifications (NCP, NCM, NCA, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with Nutanix DR solutions (Leap, replication) preferred
  • Familiarity with automation and orchestration (Calm, APIs, scripting) preferred
  • Exposure to hybrid cloud or multi-cloud integrations preferred
  • Experience in consulting or professional services organizations preferred
