Senior UCaaS Engineer
AireSpring
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of UCaaS services with clients’ existing IT environments. • Oversee the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of UCaaS systems based on Alianza Metaswitch platforms. • Ensure the UCaaS service delivery aligns with customer requirements, business objectives, and best practices. • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for UCaaS systems, configurations, and procedures. • Manage technical escalations and provide expert guidance to the engineering team in resolving complex issues. • Establish and monitor key performance metrics for UCaaS service delivery and improve service quality. • Coordinate with sales and customer support teams to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction. • Ensure compliance with SOC2 standards in all UCaaS operations, maintaining security, privacy, and data protection requirements. • Handle other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of UCaaS technologies, including VoIP, SIP, cloud-based communication systems, and integration with other business systems.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, security protocols, and system integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent experience in Alianza Metaswitch CFS, EAS, Phone Provisioning Server, Translations, and Perimeta
- Understanding of WAF technology and OrecX call recording.

• Responsible for the installation, commission and maintain the company’s products efficiently and profitably on customer’s site. • Carry out installation, commissioning, installation/operational qualification testing, temperature mapping and customer training to company procedures within quoted timescales and budgets. • Carry out calibration and validation to company procedures. • Carry out comparison calibration to ISO procedure. • Carry out routine service, emergency service and product updates as required under warranty or subsequent maintenance agreements. • Diagnosing and fault-finding breakdowns. • Liaise closely with the Support Manager and/or Installation & Service Manager reporting progress, gathering data, readings and information as requested. • Undertake on-call duties, part of the ‘on call’ out of hours rota. • Undertake annual calibration, alarm limit testing, temperature sensor validation and active sensor calibration and/or replacement. • Complete all appropriate site documentation and returning copies to the office in an efficient timely manner. • Ensure you use latest issue documentation and software. • Feed back customer comments (positive or negative), requests, observations and additional functionality requests. • Proactively maintain sufficient van stocks of installation materials and specific maintenance spares. • Control and safeguard kitted products and equipment issued for installation projects. • Act as project manager on specific projects. • Carry out site surveys and preparing quotations for extensions to existing systems or new systems. Where appropriate, recommend suitable equipment to meet customers’ requirements and estimate material and labour costs. • Complete site asset registers as and when required.
