• Coordinate and support certification activities • Track, review, and maintain certification documents, compliance checklists, and other related paperwork • Work closely with Certification Engineers and Program Management to maintain Certification Status Reporting Tools • Support meetings with regulatory authorities; take notes, submit briefings, and ensure completion of action items • Assist in the development/release of Certification processes and procedures • Assist with communications/submissions to the FAA; track FAA acceptance

• Engage students for enrollment in a program from one of our college and university partners • Recruit qualified applicants with a consultative approach • Make outbound phone calls and send texts and emails to engage prospective students • Conduct initial student interview • Consult with and prepare students to start class • Document all activities related to student interactions in the student database • Exercise discretion within process and follow all compliance guidelines • Follow up with students after enrollment to ensure readiness to start class • Collaborate with partner school staff as it relates to student support

• Report to the Sr. Manager of Certification Engineering and help guide the certification efforts for our first certified aircraft • Coordinate and support certification activities for Airframe teams • Establish compliance strategies for certification of Airframe including methods of compliance to FAA regulations • Work directly with the teams to establish relevant designs, development, and certification plans for Type Certification • Act as liaison between the teams and FAA Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) • Communicate regulatory requirements in a clear and concise manner to the teams and other Archer teams • Ensure appropriate methods of compliance are selected and adhered to • Lead the development, authoring, review, and execution of all the Airframe certification plans • Assist with planning and execution of development and certification test campaigns • Review designs and documentation with DERs to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards • Support meetings with regulatory authorities; prepare briefing materials, and ensure completion of action items • Collaborate with other members of the certification team to develop integrated aircraft level planning

• Architect and design physics-based sensor models across varying levels of fidelity for eVTOL aircraft • Own the end-to-end development lifecycle for sensor models, encompassing architecture, implementation, testing, and lab integration • Develop models spanning a variety of aviation-grade sensors, such as IMU, GNSS, INS, air data systems, and radar altimeters • Implement all sensor models in Simulink, ensuring adherence to modeling standards and adopting best practices for model management • Analyze and interpret data from simulation, lab testing, and flight testing to identify model inaccuracies and characterize real-world sensor performance • Collaborate with state estimation, control law, and simulation engineers to ensure models enable effective simulation testing • Build tools and processes to improve maintainability and enhance simulation performance

Role Description The Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer is a hands-on engineering role responsible for rapidly delivering AI-driven solutions that improve ARCHER’s operations across core platforms and workflows. This role works directly with business stakeholders to identify, prototype, and deploy solutions using LLMs, agentic workflows, document intelligence, and enterprise integrations. The engineer operates in a highly iterative model, using AI-assisted development tools to deliver working solutions in days to weeks rather than traditional development cycles. The role spans Palantir Foundry/AIP, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, and AI-native tools such as Claude Code and CoWork, and plays a key part in expanding ARCHER’s MCP capabilities and AI platform architecture. Success requires strong engineering fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to independently navigate systems, data, and ambiguity to produce measurable outcomes. • Design and implement flight control algorithms for novel VTOL aircraft • Implement creative solutions to efficiently verify complex systems and software • Build simulations to verify and validate system requirements • Run trade studies to inform aircraft design and system architecture • Work with the Flight Test team to design tests that safely evaluate the vehicle capabilities • Improve the fidelity and capabilities of our vehicle and environment simulation models • Analyze full-scale and sub scale flight data to improve our models • Author software requirements and test cases that drive the design of the GNC software • Collaborate with Systems Engineering to properly decompose higher level requirements • Collaborate with Systems Safety and Systems Engineering to identify and correct any deficiencies in the Flight Control System.

• Candidates will be a member of the Archer Defense and Advanced Programs organization and will be part of the team to incubate, market, capture, and execute (technical, cost, and schedule) advanced programs applied to our Archer Defense portfolio.

• Assist in building and updating FE models of electric propulsion engine assemblies using ANSA as the pre-processor. • Run linear static analyses in Nastran for limit and ultimate load cases; check results for correctness and flag anomalies. • Support nonlinear analysis tasks in Ansys under direction of senior engineers. • Post-process analysis results in Meta; generate plots, summary tables, and preliminary findings for review. • Maintain traceability between analysis inputs (loads, geometry revisions, material properties) and analysis outputs. • Prepare sections of analysis reports under review and guidance of the lead engineer. • Collaborate with design and loads teams to incorporate design changes and updated boundary conditions into models promptly. • Actively develop technical skills through hands-on work, code review, and mentorship from senior team members.

Role Description We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join the software team at Archer. The role consists of designing, developing, and testing safety-critical software for Archer’s fault-tolerant flight controls system. - Develop safety-critical software components for Archer’s flight control system. - Participate in planning, design, scheduling, prioritizing, and tracking the project. - Work with system engineers to decompose item requirements into high-level and low-level software requirements in compliance with DO-178C. - Work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and integrate the complex hardware/software flight control system. - Development of software plans, processes & guidelines. - Software requirements decomposition, analysis, definition, and traceability. - Software design and development, performance, risk, safety, operation and cost optimization trade studies, and lead/conduct design reviews. - Software analyses, requirements-based testing, and structural coverage analysis. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes to increase safety and efficiency. Qualifications - 4+ years of experience in flight control software or a related field. - Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree. - Proficiency with C/C++. - Experience with MATLAB/Simulink. - Fluency with widely used scripting languages like bash and Python. - Experience developing software complying with safety standards like DO-178C to high criticality levels (DAL-A/B). - Understanding of communication standards and protocols (RS-422/485, CAN, ARINC-429, AFDX, Ethernet, TCP/IP, etc.). - Familiarity with debuggers and lab instruments such as oscilloscopes and bus analyzers. - Experience with Model Based Software development and certification (DO-331).
