• Develop and execute assigned National Accounts, strategic business plans including pricing, distribution, programing, and marketing strategies driven by insights of the competitive landscape and market trends • Build annual sales and financial plan in support of Ste Michelle’s strategic plan and drive balanced profitable sales growth for our product portfolio in assigned accounts • Build strong internal relationships with key partners such as Regional Sales, RBMs, Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Legal, Winemaking & Operations, buyers, and distributors to effectively collaborate for win/win solutions to drive business • Direct a team of high performing sales professionals and effectively mentor and develop the team building capability to be recognized as one of the world-class sales teams in the alcohol industry • Develop/Maintain Trusted Relationships with assigned External Customers Horizontal & Vertical Penetration of Corporate Headquarters Management of Team calling on all RCMs on a regular basis, building execution plans for all programming • Manage team to work with SMWE Field sales to execute execution plan to agree to standards and report regularly to the RCMs on execution progress • Collaboration with Key Distributor National Leaders to Deliver Sales & Execution of Chain Plans
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA or similar post-graduate business degree preferred
- Minimum 10-years of wine industry experience required; 5+ years in national account wine sales preferred
- Ability to gain insights from analytics to develop Strategic Sales and Marketing Plans for responsible geography
- Ability to build stakeholder relationships with Corporate and Brand Management to align resources and drive execution
- Ability to effectively build strong customer relationships with retailers and distributors in territory and successfully leverage those relationships for business building opportunities
- Ability to successfully raise the capability of their organization through development and performance management
- Effective communication skills to provide focus for distributors and internal organization and drive results
- Proficiency with MS Office with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry cases of wine that may weigh up to 45 pounds
- Ability to travel (approximately 50%), primarily within assigned sales territory
- History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies

Role Description The Vice President, Customer Solutions, reporting to the Sr VP of Customer Solutions, is responsible for prospecting and generating qualified leads for 3PL services and solution selling Barrett’s nationwide network of supply chain services & solutions.
