Role Description As a Senior Business Analyst, you will serve as a strategic partner between business leaders and technology teams, driving complex initiatives from concept through delivery. You will lead the analysis of business needs, define solution strategies, and ensure the successful translation of business objectives into scalable, secure, and sustainable technical solutions. This role requires deep expertise in business analysis practices, strong leadership and facilitation skills, and the ability to influence decision-making across multiple stakeholder groups. The Senior Business Analyst is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, mentor other analysts, and contribute to continuous improvement of analysis standards and practices across the organization. Specific Responsibilities - Lead stakeholder engagement to elicit, analyze, document, and validate complex business requirements; translate needs into prioritized, testable requirements and user stories that enable effective delivery. - Drive solution definition in partnership with architects and technical teams; develop and maintain high‑quality artifacts (e.g., system specifications, workflows/process maps, functional designs, user stories, acceptance criteria); ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards. - Initiate and shape demand by partnering with business leaders and the Business Solution Manager to intake and document requests in the IT PPM tool; produce solution options, high‑level scope, estimates (cost/resources), timeline assumptions, risks, and dependencies to support prioritization and downstream project planning. - Serve as a senior liaison between business and IT, facilitating workshops and decision forums, resolving ambiguity and conflicts, and ensuring shared understanding; provide crisp updates on progress, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels. - Lead process assessment and optimization by evaluating end‑to‑end workflows, identifying opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and control improvements; define future‑state processes and measurable outcomes, and recommend technology/process changes that deliver business value. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. - Professional certifications such as CBAP strongly preferred; CCBA considered. - 4+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, or equivalent professional work experience, demonstrating ownership of complex, cross-functional initiatives. - Strong experience working within Agile and/or hybrid delivery models. - Proven experience across the full software development life cycle (SDLC). - Demonstrated expertise in process modeling, data analysis, and business case development. Requirements - Advanced proficiency with business analysis and collaboration tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Jira, Confluence). - Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, or comparable systems. - Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile, and iterative delivery methodologies.
