Role Description At PloxHost, we provide top-tier hosting solutions, ranging from Minecraft and various game servers to VPS and Dedicated Servers. We are looking for a remote, independent Customer Service Agent to help our users get the most out of our services. This is not a call center position. You will handle support exclusively via written communication (emails and Discord). This is a highly flexible, outcome-based freelance role. There are no fixed shifts or rigid schedules; you work when you can, making it the perfect fit for students or anyone looking for a rewarding side hustle. Tasks - Answer customer questions and resolve issues entirely via email and Discord. - Help users navigate billing questions, invoices, and general account management. - Provide premium, high-priority assistance to our VIP users via Discord. - Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the full suite of PloxHost services (Game servers, VPS, etc.). Qualifications - Minecraft Server Management Expertise: You know the console, how to read a latest.log file, and understand how plugins/mods interact. - Hosting Knowledge (or a strong desire to learn): You should either have experience with or a passionate interest in learning about game servers, VPS management, and dedicated hosting. - Fluency in English: Excellent written English skills are non-negotiable. - A Passion for Helping Others: You genuinely enjoy solving puzzles and turning a frustrated user’s day around.
