Job Description

Director, Technical Sales Lead

Autodesk

• Serve as the tech sales point of contact for worldwide sales leadership • Embed insights into sales strategy and decisions; advise on feasibility, risks, and gaps • Lead and coach the technical sales team; set standards for engagement in the sales process • Ensure role-based technical sales enablement for regional teams • Measure readiness and impact of the tech sales team and close capability gaps

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • An advanced degree (MBA, MS) is preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or sales management
  • at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of Autodesk products and solutions
  • Proven track record in providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship to technical sales managers and teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to align technical sales strategies with overall business goals
