UX/UI Designer, Part-time
Paired
• Design, maintain, and continuously improve the Spyglass marketing website • Create responsive page layouts, templates, and scalable design patterns • Collaborate on content hierarchy, visual storytelling, and conversion-focused user journeys • Ensure a consistent and polished brand experience across all web properties • Optimize user flows to improve demo bookings and sign-up conversions • Design high-converting landing pages for paid acquisition campaigns, partnerships, and product launches • Create and test A/B variants for key conversion elements, including: - Hero sections - Calls-to-action (CTAs) - Social proof sections - Page structures and layouts • Develop reusable landing page frameworks that enable rapid campaign deployment • Support experimentation initiatives through iterative design improvements • Contribute to the design of the Spyglass platform, including: - Dashboards - Competitor intelligence feeds - Alerts and notifications - Data visualizations - Workflow experiences • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma • Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure smooth implementation • Conduct usability reviews and identify opportunities to improve user experience • Translate user feedback and product requirements into intuitive design solutions • Build and maintain a scalable design system across marketing and product surfaces • Establish reusable components, design tokens, and interaction patterns • Ensure consistency across web experiences, landing pages, and product interfaces • Help define design standards as the platform continues to grow
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience in startup, SaaS, agency, or fast-paced environments
- Strong portfolio showcasing both:
- Marketing websites and landing pages
- Product design for SaaS platforms, dashboards, or web applications
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including:
- Auto Layout
- Components
- Variables
- Interactive prototyping
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles
- Excellent visual design skills with a sharp eye for:
- Typography
- Layout
- Spacing
- Color systems
- Visual hierarchy
- Experience designing conversion-focused experiences and optimizing user journeys
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and understand implementation constraints
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
- Experience designing AI-powered products or data-heavy platforms (Nice-to-Have Qualifications)
- Familiarity with analytics dashboards and intelligence tools
- Motion design or interaction design experience, including micro-interactions and transitions
- Basic front-end development knowledge (HTML, CSS, Tailwind, React styling)
- Experience working with DTC, e-commerce, consumer brands, or CPG companies
- Startup experience building products from early-stage concepts to production
