Role Description We’re looking for an Audit Intern, reporting to the Head of Audit. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced auditors, develop foundational skills in risk management and governance, and gain hands-on exposure to the internal audit process. Key Responsibilities - Assist in the execution of internal audit engagements in accordance with audit plans. - Support follow-up activities on remediation of audit findings. - Maintain confidentiality and integrity of audit data and documentation. - Participate in SAMA observations and inspections report validations. - Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency, cooperation, and timely resolution of audit-related issues. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in related field. - Possess a basic understanding of internal audit frameworks, standards, and best practices, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the audit profession. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Outlook and Word). - Have completed relevant coursework or gained experience through internships in auditing, risk assessment, or corporate governance. - Attention to detail and ability to work in a team. - Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and interact confidently with team members and stakeholders.
