Director, People Business Partner

• Partner with global Sales executives to design and execute people strategies that drive business performance and growth. • Lead organizational design and workforce planning initiatives to support evolving Sales priorities and scale effectively. • Coach and influence senior leaders on performance management, talent strategy, and leadership effectiveness. • Use people data and insights to identify trends, diagnose gaps, and implement targeted solutions that improve engagement and productivity. • Drive global talent management processes, including performance reviews, succession planning, and leadership development. • Champion diversity, inclusion, and belonging by embedding equitable practices across hiring, development, and team design. • Collaborate cross-functionally across People and Sales orgs to lead and deliver complex, scalable programs aligned to business needs. • Build and evolve operating models for People Business Partnership across global Sales teams in a high-growth, changing environment.

Job Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a People Business Partner or HR leadership role, ideally supporting global Sales or GTM organizations in a high-growth tech environment.
  • Proven ability to influence and coach senior executives and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong experience in organizational design, talent strategy, and change management at scale.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable people strategies.
  • Someone who seeks out and thrives in a fast-paced culture of high ambiguity and rapid change and knows how to drive success as priorities shift.
  • High level of judgment, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive information.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders of all levels and personalities.
  • Enjoys pivoting from strategic problem solving to strong execution (known to roll up their sleeves to get the job done, no ego – not above getting into the weeds)

Role Description The People & Culture (P&C) Associate supports the effective delivery of core workforce processes, data management, and coordination of P&C activities within the Global Emergency Unit (EmU), with a particular focus on the Global Surge Team (GST). This role plays an important part in ensuring that employee data, systems, and processes are accurate, up to date, and well-coordinated to support operations in a dynamic context. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that requires a strong ability to learn quickly, follow and apply processes consistently, and manage information with a high level of accuracy. The P&C Associate will work closely with colleagues across P&C, Finance, and EmU’s Deployment Team, supporting day-to-day operations while helping to identify and resolve process or data issues. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, learning agility, and an ability to think across systems, understanding how data, processes, and teams connect, and providing problem-solving support when something may be misaligned. This role offers an opportunity to build experience in emergency P&C operations, systems, and data in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment. Location: This is a national contracted position based in Honduras, Nigeria, or Kenya. All current IRC staff employed on national or local contracts in CRRD, regardless of their country of assignment, are eligible for consideration for this position and can be based at any IRC location. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in HR/P&C, administration, data management, or operations. - Exposure to fast-paced or international work environments is an advantage. Requirements - Moderate experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday) or similar tools. - Experience supporting data entry, tracking, and simple reporting. - Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., sorting, basic formulas, data tracking). - General understanding of HR/P&C processes (e.g., employee data updates, leave, benefits). - Awareness of the importance of data accuracy and confidentiality. - English proficiency required; fluency in Arabic, French or English preferred.
